Hook: 2.75mm
Yarn: weight 4, red

Small ramus with stitches 1 and 2:

Insert hook into st 1 and out through the back of st 2. Make a slip knot and pull it through the stitches with the hook, keeping the short tail in the head. After the first chain, pull on both tails from inside the head so that the knot is pulled inside the head. Tighten the knot.

Push the end of the yarn through st 2 and tie it up inside the head.

Large ramus with stitches 1 and 2:
